"We didn't say that we weren't releasing singles. What we said was that this album didn't really have immediately accessible, catchy dance songs, like the first album had ... I don't even know why I said that," Van Wyngarden sighs. "But we kind of felt like it's something that's best first listened to as a whole, though, as it turns out, we did release a single. You know, 'Flash Delerium.' "

Memph stayed strong through the show and helped Jay pull off another successful performance, as they brought the crowd to its feet with classics like "Big Pimpin' " and new hits like "Run This Town."

"We usually don't do opening credits for videos, but it kind of goes with the story and the length of the video," he explained. "This is actually a real jail, or it used to be, but they closed it in L.A. We looked at a couple. There's, like, two or three jails in L.A. that you can shoot in. ... [I] always try and stick in my female bodybuilders in my videos. We like that."
